In a bid to make the children in Zion community Ajegunle have a memorable Christmas, the Feminine Care Development Foundation on the 26th of December 2014 put together the Storm the Slum, Give a Smile , a christmas party for the kids living in the community .
Speaking with the project coordinator, Barrister Jumoke Awe, she said we decided to take Santa to the slum, to make the children happy , some kids living in the slum cannot afford the luxury of paying to visit a Santa clause and other fun filled activities that comes with Christmas for kids- My team and I felt this void should be filled- hence we organize the programme , where we treat the kids in hundreds to dance, food , drinks and loads of gifts. The secretary of the community Development Association, Mr. A O llesanmi, expressed his heartfelt to Barr. Jumoke Awe and her team , saying the team has indeed put a smile on the face of the children- and he expect them to visit in years to come.

One of the kids Temitope Balogun said she is so happy, that she got a gift from Santa, I danced, played on the castle and touch Dora cartoon I watched on the television.Titilayo Bankole, a volunteer said, the program is a eye opener for her, as she could see that the children in the slum are happy despite having less luxury things that makes life comfortable. The feminine care foundation has over the years organized several programmes that have been beneficial to the society, among which is the Street to School Scholarship scheme.
