I get paid N2million to make skits – Sabinus brags

Chukwuemeka Ejekwu, popular Nigerian skit maker better known as Sabinus, has said the government is discouraging skit makers with stiff rules.
The funnyman, in a chat with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, TV host, also spoke of the revenue potential of showbiz in Nigeria.
He said the government has not done enough to establish an enabling environment for the entertainment space to thrive.

Four men indicted over death of Hollywood star Michael K. Williams

New York prosecutors said Wednesday they had charged four men in relation to the drug overdose death of “The Wire” actor Michael K. Williams.
Williams, who starred as Omar Little in the widely acclaimed television series, died of an accidental drug overdose in September.
The 54-year-old, who played the iconic Baltimore stick-up man in the groundbreaking show, was found dead in his apartment in New York.

Actors who met Tinubu didn’t represent guild – AGN Task force chairman

The Actors’ Guild of Nigeria has said that the Nollywood stars who met with presidential hopeful, Bola Tinubu, didn’t represent the interest of the guild.
This was contained in a statement signed by the AGN National Task force chairman, McSmith Ochendo, on Wednesday.
In a video that went viral last year, Tinubu was seen in the company of some actors like John Okafor (Mr Ibu), Foluke Daramola, and Harry B Anyanwu during his campaign event.

Infidelity: I’m not controlled by flesh-Sammie Okposo declares

Popular gospel singer, Sammie Okposo, has said that he isn’t controlled by the flesh but by the Spirit of God.
Okposo made this known in a recent Instagram post on Wednesday, where he said that there was no condemnation for him.
This comes barely a week after the singer received online criticisms when he publicly confessed to cheating on his wife, with a woman he met in the United States.

Vic’o declares love for DJ Cuppy, says :”You are all i want in a woman”

Nigerian rapper, Victor Odu, better known as Vic. O, has openly declared love for DJ Cuppy.
Kennisplace recalls that DJ Cuppy had earlier lamented about being single following the news of Rihanna’s pregnancy.
“Rihanna is pregnant and I’m still single,” the DJ and entrepreneur wrote on her Instagram page.
Reacting to Cuppy’s post, the rapper asked her to be his queen, stating that he had loved her for a long time.
“Short note to you my queen-to-be. @cuppymusic I’m very much available for you babe,” Vic O captioned the video.
